Farley Taylor Lansing
![]() Farley on Safari |
Farley represents the third generation of adventurous spirits in the travel business. Her grandmother, Valerie Kent, was one of the first women to guide safaris in East Africa and her mother, Anne, followed suit and has now been in the business for over 40 years. Farley has traveled with both Valerie and Anne since she was two years old and now knows intimately their favorite places.
|
In 1988, Farley and her sister Marett went on an exploratory year long trip to virtually every corner of the world
in order to complete their training in the travel business. They used a mix of escorted group tours where
appropriate, and private customized itineraries where they had special interests and where it was safe for two
young women to be on their own. Farley ended up with training not only on the world and its many marvels, but
also on the type of expectations her future clients would have. Simply put, they learned how to make a
trip operate seamlessly and they learned the attention to detail which makes this happen. Subsequently Farley
has designed similar complicated trips for many of their guests.

They now make their home in Chicago where Farley is now the Vice President of the company and is taking on a growing management role.
