Why Travel With A.K. Taylor International, Ltd?
.

Few others in the travel industry have the knowledge base that Anne Kent Taylor and Farley Taylor Lansing possess. They have traveled extensively throughout Africa and around the world finding new and exciting destinations for their clients. They rarely send clients to a place they have not personally visited, and in each destination, they pride themselves on having close personal and professional relationships with their in-country operators. The company’s operation is based on the legacy of Anne’s parents (who founded Abercrombie & Kent, the first photographic safari company to offer traditional tented safaris) of superior service and personalized attention to details.  This is the case whether their clients are traveling to Africa, India, Antarctica, Europe, Asia or other parts of the world. In fact, several of Anne’s clients are the descendants of her parents' clients, who were some of the first intrepid travelers to visit the "dark" continent of Africa.

Between them, Anne and Farley have travelled to every continent which gives them the inside knowledge needed to organize specialized itineraries for their clients. They have developed a network of ground operators around the world who meet their clients upon arrival and ensure that their clients' travels are seamless until departure. As an independent agent, A.K. Taylor International is not bound to any particular ground operator, or lodge or hotel chain, so they carefully choose the best company to operate each itinerary they design. They often work directly with operators within the destination country, choosing between large and small companies depending on their clients' travel needs. They work with specialized small companies as well as the large ground operators with extensive infrastructures. This allows them to offer traditional trips as well as horseback, camel or walking expeditions in many different countries. Each company has specific specialties and exceptional guides and they will choose the right fit for each client.

Their tailor-made itineraries are for any group size (from 1-50) and are designed to suit the specific interests, timeframe, and budget of their clients as well as exposing the traveler to sights and experiences not found on typical trips. Should clients prefer, A.K. Taylor International can also place them on an existing group itinerary (i.e. a brochure trip with already set travel dates, itinerary, and other guests). These tours are offered by several of the tour operators with whom Farley and Anne work, with no price differential should they assist you with your booking. This option can often be less expensive than a custom-planned itinerary and is particularly beneficial if you are a lone traveler. With their knowledge and connections, Anne and Farley can usually personalize these departures to some degree for their clients by requesting special services, activities and the best possible guides. They can also plan private pre- or post- trip extensions that perfectly complement the group tour.
