Anne Kent Taylor grew up in Kenya and has been in the safari business since the early 1960’s. In 1988 she incorporated her own company, A.K. Taylor International Ltd. (AKTIL), to share her love of travel with her friends and clients (History). Anne, and her daughter Farley, are devoted to finding remote and exotic places around the globe where one can reconnect with nature and the culture of the areas they visit. They specialize in designing custom itineraries which fully expose the traveler to sights and experiences not generally found on “typical” trips. They can also help clients’ select brochure trips, where clients join an existing group and set itinerary. These are offered through reliable travel operators with whom they have worked for many years. Brochure trips can often be a more economical way to travel and ideal for single travelers. A.K. Taylor International, Ltd. always work closely with their clients to ensure that each trip is ideal for the individual’s specific interests and budgetary requirements. With very few exceptions, all of the countries featured on the AKTIL website have been visited by Anne, Farley or their staff on their constant scouting and guiding expeditions.
